Aside from the Bogue Banks beaches, places to see include Historic Beaufort, where you can walk along the waterfront, shop our local stores, see some of our local art or take a ferry over to Shakelford Banks and the Cape Lookout National Seashore. You’ll see plenty of wildlife with an excellent chance of spotting some dolphin and wild horses.  In fact, that’s the Cape Lookout Lighthouse in our logo, an icon indicative of The Crystal Coast here in the Southern Outer Banks for many years. 

Morehead City boasts the second largest seaport in the state and also has a waterfront with plenty of shopping and arts, and several marinas to welcome our guest traveling here by boat.
